Law 12/2023, of May 24, 2023, on the right to housing, approved in Congress on April 27, 2023, and in the Senate on May 18, which has been in force since the day after its inclusion in the BOE, on May 26, 2023, contemplates in Section 1 of Article 20 that in the case of housing lease contracts the costs of real estate management and the of the formalisation of the contract shall be the responsibility of the lessor.
